Concrete facade features on a nine story building in an Australian city CBD had the start of concrete cancer and large pieces threatening to fall off potentially injurying the public. As soon as the owner was made aware of the problem absailers were sent to remove any dangerous pieces and then A.R.S was asked to advise a suitable procedure to make the sections safe and to rehabilitate the sections and give the building a face lift at the saem time. Specilist engineers were engaged and A.R.S. helped conduct a full survey and audit of the entire building all levels. A practicle scope of works estabalisehd along with a budget and time frames.
Working around the public,tennants and retail traders A.R.S instaigated a works programme to minimize disruption and saving the client substantial dollars in both lost revenue and out going costs undertook the works.
On budget, on time and 100% sign off on all aspects by the superindednt engineer. Client continues with A.R.S on a number of other projects.
